Our Client, an international gold producer, operates a well-established mining operation in Western Australia.
They are currently looking for an experienced Project Geologist with a strong background in gold exploration.
Requirements:
- Relevant Geology qualifications;
- Experience working with various exploration datasets and ability to conduct geological interpretation and develop working geological models;
- Relevant understanding of QAQC procedures, drilling and sampling practices;
- Proficient with GIS and 3D modelling software;
- Good communication skills.
Position Duties:
- Plan and manage field-based drilling activities, including AC, RC, and Diamond drilling programs;
- Resource modelling and estimation;
- Geological logging and geological interpretation;
- Provide training and mentoring of new geologists.
Experience
5 + years exploration experience within gold.
