Our client is an Australia-focused minerals explorer with drill-ready gold and base metals targets in several prospective terranes in Western Australia.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Exploration Geologist to join their team.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Geology;
- Exposure to a variety of operating systems, software, and hardware;
- Excellent communication & people skills;
- High level of autonomy & independence;
- Initiative & problem-solving ability.
Position Duties:
- Plan, manage and execute exploration activities – drilling, geochem sampling, mapping, and rehabilitation;
- Assessment of exploration results and make recommendations for further work;
- Generate and interpret targets utilising geological, geochemical, and geophysical data;
- Supervise Exploration Geologists and Field Assistants.
