MES is currently seeking an experienced Underground Geologist on behalf of our client, a Perth-based ASX gold mining company.
Our client is an ASX-listed gold mining company that owns 100% of this WA Gold Mine, located in Austalia's most significant gold belt.
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in geology or related discipline;
- Previous experience utilizing Leapfrog mining software;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong commitment to safety;
- C Class Drivers Licence (manual).
Position Duties:
- Daily production reporting tasks ensuring accurate and timely delivery to technical teams;
- Assisting the Senior Geologist in the design and coordination of drilling activities;
- Accurate and detailed geological and structural core logging;
- Underground geological mapping and sampling;
- Geological Interpretation and wireframing;
- QAQC validation of the drill holes.
Experience
2+ years' experience in underground mine geology, preferably within a gold mine.
