Our client, located near Batemans Bay on the NSW southern coast, requires a suitably experienced and qualified Exploration Manager to head up this ASX listed company.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification(s);
- Hold Australian working rights;
- A strong geological and structural background and preferably exposure to intrusion-related or reduced intrusion-related gold systems or similar;
- Ability to coordinate and lead a team in a greenfields environment
- Able to Establish baseline data for ongoing exploration decision-making.
Position Duties:
- Design and development of exploration models, strategies, and budgets;
- Implementation and management of approved exploration programs and budgets;
- Efficient and effective management of the Company exploration team;
- Coordination and management of all technical consultants and contractors;
- Establishment and maintenance of a robust technical database of The Company’s exploration projects to ensure database integrity;
- Preparation of technical reports for Director meetings, ASX, ASIC and government agencies and shareholder, media and broker presentations;
- Assist with the maintenance of administrative data as required by The Company to keep records in good order;
- Management of the exploration program by safety, environmental, and heritage policies, and statutory requirements;
- Coordination of geophysical surveys;
- Oversee data compilation, interpretation;
- Stakeholder liaison (i.e. landowners, regulatory authorities, etc.) as required;
- Assist in the identification of potential acquisition and joint venture opportunities;
- Management of exploration farm-ins / joint ventures as may be required.
