KD13011 - Mine Surveyor

Our client, a successful diversified development company, is currently seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to be work on one of their remote projects in WA.

Role Requirements;

  • Valid WA Drivers Licence
  • Tertiary qualifications or Diploma in Mine Surveying or Engineering
  • Grade-2 Authorisation (Surveyor) will be highly regarded
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated experience using Trimble survey equipment, stockpile volume surveying and end of month reconciliations
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical + D&A
  • Full rights to work in Australia without restrictions

About the role: 
  • Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service
  • Mark up and pick up of blast and exploration drill holes and patterns
  • Set out Pit limits and TBM’s measuring quantities of material blasted, Surveying mine configuration
  • Demarcation of Clearing and Ground Disturbance Permit areas, End of month reconciliation of all stockpiles, Pit and ROM volumes
Experience: 
2+ years experience in a similar role plus Software experience using Surpac, Leica GPC or Total Stations will be highly regarded
