Our client, a successful diversified development company, is currently seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to be work on one of their remote projects in WA.
Role Requirements;

Valid WA Drivers Licence
Tertiary qualifications or Diploma in Mine Surveying or Engineering
Grade-2 Authorisation (Surveyor) will be highly regarded
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office
Demonstrated experience using Trimble survey equipment, stockpile volume surveying and end of month reconciliations
Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical + D&A
Full rights to work in Australia without restrictions

Position Duties:

  • Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service
  • Mark up and pick up of blast and exploration drill holes and patterns
  • Set out Pit limits and TBM’s measuring quantities of material blasted, Surveying mine configuration
  • Demarcation of Clearing and Ground Disturbance Permit areas, End of month reconciliation of all stockpiles, Pit and ROM volumes
Experience
2+ years experience in a similar role plus Software experience using Surpac, Leica GPC or Total Stations will be highly regarded
