KD13284 - Underground Electrician | Mining Employment Services

MES is currently seeking an experienced Underground Electrician to join our client, an emergency base metals miner their underground mine site.
FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie (note - DIDO contractors will need to stay at camp for the duration of each swing).
Role Requirements:

WA Electrical Licence
HV Switching Ticket
Valid Drivers Licence
Working at Heights & Confined Space
Provide First Aid & CPR
Current National Police Clearance issues within 6 months
Must be able to pass a medical & drug/alcohol screen
Able to work unsupervised or in a team as required

Position Duties:

Perform any planned maintenance including breakdown repairs on underground mobile and fixed plant/equipment
Test equipment and ensure safety compliance
Rebuild and repairs to submersible pumps as required, completion of HV switching programs and permits as required
Maintain parts storage and re-order any necessary parts

Experience
