MES is seeking an experienced Mill Supervisor on behalf of our client, a base & precious metal producer to work on their copper mine in the Goldfields.
The successful candidate will be required to start immediately - the duration of the role will be for the remainder of 2019 with the potential to extend.
Role Requirements:
Valid manual Australian Drivers Licence
Thorough operational knowledge of process plant service systems such as the tailings dam, raw water supply, RO water treatment plant and supply systems
Working at Heights / Confined Space
National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
Good computer literacy
Other equipment experience may include- forklift, bobcat, crane and gantry, light vehicle, general tools, chemicals and reagents (desirable)
Able to pass a medical / drug & alcohol screen
Australian work rights without restrictions
You will have the option of FIFO Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie (note - if DIDO you will need to stay at the camp for the swing).
Position Duties:
- Oversee the running of the processing plant, ensure all equipment is being monitored and to improve the quality, efficiency and safety of the processing plant
- Organise and mentor the crew and to fulfill a leadership / supervisory role
- Manage and assist with the training for the crew.
- Oversee and perform the logging of all sectional checks and carrying out of general duties and hazard identifications
