MES is seeking an experienced Magazine Keeper to work for our client, a busy Western Australian nickel miner.
This particular site is experiencing significant growth.
Role Requirements:
WA Manual Drivers Licence
Dangerous Goods Security Card (mandatory)
Able to work well in a team & unsupervised if needed
Good housekeeping, well organised & able to multi-task
National Police Clearance (6 months)
Be physically fit and must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, full functional assessment and a drug & alcohol screen

Position Duties:
- You will be accountable for the safe storage and transportation of explosives. as well as assisting Charge-up crews
- You will be responsible and accountable for the issuing of explosives by following all State and Federal compliance requirements under the Mines Safety Inspection Act and Regulations
Experience
Experience working in an underground mine in a similar role.
