MES is currently seeking an experienced Underground Geologist on behalf of our ASX listed gold mining client.
Our client has had significant success in recent years with increased gold production and the addition of new mining projects.
Role Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Geology
C-Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
Sound knowledge & previous experience using Micromine software
Strong commitment to safety
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Position Duties:
- Assist with the geological data collection and interpretation, mapping, sampling and logging.
- Assist with grade reconciliations and block modelling
- Drill hole planning and design
- Production reporting and tracking.
Experience
2+ years experience in a similar role working in the gold mining industry
