Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering
Commitment to safety in all aspects of your work
Software competencies (Surpac Ventsim, Deswick etc)
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Position Duties:
- Statutory Ventilation Officer duties
- Ensure that the underground ventilation system is maintained so as to meet all regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain the ventilation management plan
- Conduct primary & secondary ventilation surveys
