Our Client requires Junior Project Geologists for an advanced gold project located northwest of Meekatharra in Western Australia. The project includes granted exploration licences, covering the western arm of the Proterozoic Bryah-Padbury Basin (host to the Fortnum, Horseshoe and Peak Hill gold deposits.
3-6 month contract with possibility for extension and permanent starting August
- Tertiary qualification in Geology
- Demonstrated knowledge of precious metal mineral systems
- A solid understanding of structural geology principles
- Current 'C' Class Drivers License
Position Duties:
- Supervision of RC drilling and other exploration programs
- Compilation and assessment of geological information
- Supervision of field staff to ensure safe and high quality work procedures are maintained
- Logging, data entry, assessment of results and all aspects of quality control
- Coordination of logistics and supplies for site activities
