Our Client is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Metallurgy Superintendent for their overseas operation
You will be responsible for;
Managing the metallurgical functions of the processing facility
Coordinate individual and specific training to ensure training needs are met effectively and efficiently
Ensure that all Health, Safety and Production requirements are met in accordance with Company and statutory standards, guidelines and procedures
Planning and communication of activities to other departments including mining and maintenance
Ensure the metallurgical optimisation of the plant through project and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will;
Have at least 10 years operational experience, of which 5 years will have been spent within the Gold Industry at a senior supervisory level.
Be able to demonstrate the capacity to mentor and develop their team of national metallurgists and technicians
Possess superior communication and man management skills
Have a tertiary qualification in extractive metallurgy
Experience in gold processing, flotation and fine grinding
