Our Client is currently seeking a Senior Metallurgist for their technically advanced lithium processing plant.
Reporting to the Manager Technical Services, this role will help drive the metallurgical performance of the processing facility, which is the key to the success of the operation.
The role provides an opportunity for an extractive metallurgist or chemical engineer to bring their expertise to this diversified unit processing plant in a developing commodity market.
The plant consists of:
Crushing
Grinding and separation including HPGR
Milling circuit includes spirals and cyclones
Flotation
Thickening and filtration
Position Duties:
- Maintain operating data report accuracy and distribution
- Implementation of continuous improvement programs
- Daily analysis of plant performance
Experience
Degree qualification and 5+ years experience, oxide or base metal flotation highly regarded
