MES has currently looking for an experienced Open Pit Mine Surveyor to join a Global Market segment leader at their Western Australian based operation. Reporting to the Mine Manager, the Surveyor is responsible for providing technical support, planning and execution of surveying, mine planning, rehabilitation and mine closure works at the mining operation. This role will suit a motivated, self-starter who is able to satisfy the following criteria: Tertiary qualification in Surveying, G2 Ticket. Surpac Software experience 3-5 years of operational experience. Experience operating drone survey equipment will be highly regarded. Position Duties:
- Develop and maintain survey control
- Generate regular and reliable surface pickups of stockpiles, mining areas and dumps
- Mine Closure Plan update and management
