Our client, one of Australia’s largest domestic gold producers, is currently seeking an experienced Open Pit Surveyor for a short-term contract.
This company has a mining and processing complex in Western Australia’s world-class Kalgoorlie gold region, including a highly prospective tenement package of more than 1,000km².
Job requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mine Surveying (Diploma or higher);
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Surpac (preferable) or other surveying programs;
- UAV pilot license;
- WA C Class manual drivers license;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Position Duties:
- Ensure that production and development targets are achieved through safe, accurate and timely survey work;
- Provide effective survey direction & control for the implementation of the mine design;
- Input into the preparation of plans, maps, charts and drawings, through the collection, compilation and maintenance of the mines survey spatial data models;
- EOM volumes.
Experience
12+ months experience as an open pit mine surveyor (ideally gold).
