MES is currently seeking an Open Pit Mine Surveyor to work for our client; a leading ASX-listed lithium company, owning 100% of the world’s largest, independent hard-rock lithium operation.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Surveying
- Manual Drivers Licence
- Remote Pilot Licence
- WA Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate (desirable but not essential)
- National Police Clearance
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and team orientated
- Competent utilizing both UAV and Leica GPS equipment
- Proficiency using Surpac
Position Duties:
- Undertaking any site survey requirements as directed by the Senior Surveyor
- Measure quantities of blasted material
- Measure total volumes mined, stockpiled and produced
- Provide set-outs, pick-ups and monitoring
- Assisting the mining team to maintain accurate plans for the mine site and associated infrastructure
- Survey compliance to design utilizing both UAV and Leica GPS equipment
- End of month reporting, including surveys, volumes & reconciliations
Experience
12+ months mine surveying experience.
