MES is currently seeking an Open Pit Mine Surveyor to work for our client; a leading ASX-listed lithium company, owning 100% of the world’s largest, independent hard-rock lithium operation.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Surveying
  • Manual Drivers Licence
  • Remote Pilot Licence
  • WA Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate (desirable but not essential)
  • National Police Clearance
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and team orientated
  • Competent utilizing both UAV and Leica GPS equipment
  • Proficiency using Surpac

Position Duties:

  • Undertaking any site survey requirements as directed by the Senior Surveyor
  • Measure quantities of blasted material
  • Measure total volumes mined, stockpiled and produced
  • Provide set-outs, pick-ups and monitoring
  • Assisting the mining team to maintain accurate plans for the mine site and associated infrastructure
  • Survey compliance to design utilizing both UAV and Leica GPS equipment
  • End of month reporting, including surveys, volumes & reconciliations
Experience
12+ months mine surveying experience.
