MES is looking for an Exploration Geologist and a Core Logging Geologist to join our client's team.
You will be working for an innovative and leading mining services company with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Qualifications in Geology;
- Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence;
- Hold Australian Working Rights;
- Proficient user of AcQuire, Micromine, and Arc GIS software
- Exceptional time management skills;
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Position Duties:
- Collect, validate and manage geological data from field mapping and drill programs;
- Assist in the execution of resource definition and exploration drill programs;
- Input all field data into the AcQuire database;
- Drill rig supervision; geological logging; geological interpretation; ensure sampling quality is maintained.
Experience
2+ years experience in the exploration industry, ideally working iron ore or lithium projects.
