MES is seeking a Field Assistant to join our client's team to assist with their remote exploration project in the Wheatbelt region.
This company is an explorer with drill-ready targets for gold and base metals in several prospective terranes in Western Australia. The Greenfield exploration projects are wholly-owned with ongoing project generation.
Requirements:
- Hold a current WA C-Class Driver's Licence;
- National Police Clearance;
- Strong safety focus;
- Knowledge of exploration and mining processes;
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol screen.
Position Duties:
- Collect, record and transport samples of rock, soil or water;
- Collate information collected from a range of samples and carry out computer processing of the data;
- Drill chip sampling - RC and Diamond;
- Assisting with clearing and preparing and rehabilitation of drill sites.
Experience
2+ years experience working in a similar role.
