NA15323 Fixed Plant Fitter | Mining Employment Services

MES is looking for an experienced & motivated Fixed Plant Fitter to work for our client, a well-established high-grade base metals miner based at one of their WA projects.

As the processing plant is not in operation, this role would focus on the construction and maintenance of the processing plant.

There is great potential to join the team full-time when the processing plant begins operating in the next couple of months.

Requirements:

Trade Certificate (Engineering Tradesperson - Mechanical);
Valid WA Manual Drivers License;
Working at Heights & Confined Spaces Ticket (desirable);
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug & alcohol screen;
Current national police clearance;
COVID Vaccine Certificate.

Position Duties:

Maintain the underground pumping stations;
Ensuring safe work practices and standards are adhered to at all times;
Manage surface water systems, plant infrastructure and associated equipment ensuring maximum uptime and cost effectiveness;
Concrete batch plant maintenance;
Effective accurate record keeping of infrastructure statutory equipment;
Vent fan maintenance;
Being a team player and part of a focused successful maintenance team.

Experience

At least one year working in a similar maintenance, preferably on base metals sites.
