Our client, an Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer is looking for an experienced UG Mine Planning Engineer to join their team.
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Mining Engineering
- Valid "C" Class Licence;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team;
- Competent using underground mine design software, in particular Deswik suites.
Position Duties:
- Effectively undertake and manage design, planning and scheduling tasks;
- Confidently undertake short and medium planning for the mine;
- Effectively balance mine scheduling and mine planning workflow;
- Review and optimising medium and long term planning designs;
- Development planning incorporating the short, medium and long term planning requirements.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
