Our client is an established producer of premium quality iron ore, with assets in the Kimberley and Mid-West regions of Western Australia.
They require a Contract Open Pit Mine Surveyor for an upcoming position at their flagship operation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in surveying;
- Remote Pilot's Licence;
- Competent using Trimble and Surpac.
Position Duties:
- End-of-month reporting, including surveys, volumes & reconciliations;
- Provide set-outs, pick-ups, and monitoring of pit walls, bores, and water levels;
- Drill and blast surveys;
- Ore mark-ups;
- Assisting the mining team to maintain accurate plans for the mine site and associated infrastructure.
Experience
2-3 years open pit mine surveying experience.
