Our client, a Perth-based mineral explorer, is seeking a Project Exploration Geologist to join one of their gold project in Western Australia.
The Gold Project is located in a historically proven mineral field and represents an exciting advanced exploration opportunity. The company is confident it will grow to support long-life, low-cost gold mines in the future.
Requirements:
- Relevant Geology Qualifications;
- C-Class Drivers Licence (Manual);
- Hold Australian Working Rights;
- Conversant with geology software packages (Micromine, ARCGIS, AcQuire);
- Excellent communication with the ability to liaise at all levels.
Position Duties:
- Drill rig supervision;
- Oversee sampling, chip tray and logging;
- Supervision of Field Assistants;
- Reporting on progress of drill campaigns;
- Lodging POW's;
- Clearing permits as part of your drill planning.
