Our client, a successful ASX-listed gold producer is seeking an experienced Processing Superintendent to join their growing team. 

You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of plant metallurgical and processing control systems and initiating remedial action as required. 

Requirements: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy (not essential);
  • Current Australian Manual Drivers Licence (essential);
  • Ability to supervise both Processing and Fixed Plant Maintenance departments;
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices;
  • Exposure to budgeting and reporting;
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills.

Position Duties:

  • Monitoring the performance of plant metallurgical and process control systems and initiating remedial action as required;
  • Promote & encourage reporting of hazards & incidents to identify problematic areas;
  • Monitoring plant production quantity and quality against plan and reporting significant variances to the Processing Manager;
  • Daily mentoring to production staff;
  • Manage daily haulage operations to maximise ore stocks and manage the onsite laboratory.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years experience in processing (preferably in gold)
