MES is looking for Junior Exploration Geologists to work for a brand new listed company at their exploration project located on the southern coast of NSW.
This project is host to several multi-million-ounce gold deposits and significant base metal deposits:
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Geology
- Manual Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Strong computer literacy skills and excellent communication skills with all levels of operation
- Knowledge and understanding of Mines Regulations, OH&S, and duty of care
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to mentor
- Able to pass an employment medical including a drug and alcohol test
Position Duties:
- Assisting the Senior Geologist with managing the drilling projects;
- Working in remote locations with the capacity to undertake campaign work if/when required;
- Marking up and core logging;
- Working alongside field assistants, drillers and offsiders.
Experience
12+ months with a background in base metals and gold exploration..
