Our client is a multi-asset mineral resource company focused primarily on the acquisition, exploration, evaluation, and development of precious metal properties. They are seeking a degree-qualified Processing Superintendent for a permanent position.
Current gold production sits around 100,000 oz per annum with ambitions to become a mid-tier gold producer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (Extractive Metallurgy) or Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or recognized equivalent
- Capable of using Citect SCADA systems and proprietary PLC systems
- Understanding of laboratory and metallurgical data management systems, such as LIMS
- Detailed knowledge of mineral processing plants – crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits; and extractive metallurgy
- Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence
- National Police clearance (within 6 months)
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
Position Duties:
- Assist in development and implementation of mill production plans and targets
- Develop, coach and mentor identified talent
- Provide continuous monitoring and improvement of plant performance and reliability
- Provide ongoing coverage as the alternate Processing Manager during their absences from site
Experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a fixed processing plant environment with at least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Processing role
