NF15276 - Underground Drill Fitters | Mining Employment Services

MES is looking for Underground Drill Fitters to work for an exciting gold and nickel producer that is currently on the move!

This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment of the site's fleet to ensure maximum availability to the mine's operations.

Requirements:

Hold a recognized Heavy Duty Mechanical/Plant Trade Qualification.
Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence.
National Police clearance (within 6 months).
Have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Current WA 'C' class drivers' license.

Position Duties:

Fault diagnostics & repairs, maintenance & repairs of all equipment, mainly Drill rigs.
Good fault-finding skills and carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Diagnose, Repair and test mobile plant to improve machine reliability.
EWP ticket. Working at Heights ticket. (desirable)

Experience

Preferred minimum of 3 years’ post trade experience working in underground mining environment.
