Our client, a fully integrated titanium minerals producer and pigment manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their team.
An opportunity to either join their team at their processing plant in Muchea (30km from Ellenbrook) or Cataby (100km North of Muchea on the Brand highway c/w Site accommodation)
Requirements:
- Australian Drivers Licence (Manual);
- High-Risk Work Licence (LF, EWP) - desirable;
- National Police Clearance (issued within 12 months);
- A "Can do attitude";
- Strong ability to adapt to & pick up new tasks/ideas quickly;
- Sound knowledge of an ERP (Ellipse, Oracle, SAP) inventory management system;
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
Position Duties:
- Focus on ensuring the day-to-day operational activities of the stores;
- Provide excellent customer service to operational functions;
- Ensure the Warehousing function is a safe, well-coordinated and optimal working environment;
- Responsible for achieving MRO inventory targets, availability of critical items and meeting KPI’s;
- Provide inventory and ERP system training, guidance and support to team members and end users;
- Monitor and investigate inventory deficiencies through root causes investigations, recommend appropriate corrective actions and implement changes as agreed with end users;
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities through optimising working capital and improving both work procedures and systems.
