MES is currently seeking an Underground OHS Trainer on behalf of our client.
Our client is a leading gold producer with six underground mines and several open-pit mines providing ore to three processing hubs.
- TAE 40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment ( or TAE 40110 with required upgrades);
- Underground Supervisor Ticket (or prepared to obtain);
- Exposure to INX;
- Certificate IV in OHS (advantageous);
- WA driver's licence;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol;
- National Police Clearance (issued within 12 months).
Position Duties:
- Conducting training needs analysis and implementing a department training matrix
- Ensuring that all employees are suitably trained/certified to work on heavy machinery
- Maintaining and updating employee training records and training plans on the skills matrix
- Development and continual review of operational documentation
- Conducting training and assessment of Production and Maintenance department trainees
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years operational underground experience
