MES is currently seeking an Underground OHS Trainer on behalf of our client.

Our client is a leading gold producer with six underground mines and several open-pit mines providing ore to three processing hubs.

  • TAE 40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment ( or TAE 40110 with required upgrades);
  • Underground Supervisor Ticket (or prepared to obtain);
  • Exposure to INX;
  • Certificate IV in OHS (advantageous);
  • WA driver's licence;
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol;
  • National Police Clearance (issued within 12 months).

Position Duties:

  • Conducting training needs analysis and implementing a department training matrix
  • Ensuring that all employees are suitably trained/certified to work on heavy machinery
  • Maintaining and updating employee training records and training plans on the skills matrix
  • Development and continual review of operational documentation
  • Conducting training and assessment of Production and Maintenance department trainees
