MES is seeking an experienced Processing Trainer to join a small site and great team.

Our client is a uniquely positioned gold exploration and development company as 100% owner of their gold project in Western Australia. 

Requirements:

  • Cert 4 in Training and Assessing; 
  • WA C-class Drivers Licence;
  • National Police Clearance;
  • Strong leadership skills and leading by example;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain effective and inclusive working relationships;
  • Ability to work in a positive team environment;
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen;
  • Hold full working right in Australia;
  • Be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 + Booster

Position Duties:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining operating procedures, standards and training manuals for plant and operations.
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of consistent competency-based training and assessment for operational teams, including re-assessment and evaluation.
  • Assisting to develop training needs analyses and competency assessment tools as required.
  • Providing assistance, coaching, mentoring and support to process technicians to ensure standards, procedures and safe operating instructions are adhered to.
  • Supporting shut down training where applicable.
  • Conducting relevant area orientations for all contractors and new employees.
