Our client, a successful Australian Gold producer, seeks 4 x Mine Geos to join their team at one of their UG Gold Operations in WA.

Working closely with the Senior Mine Geologists and the Geology Superintendent, the Project Mine Geologist will be assisting with some large-scale project work.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology or the equivalent;
  • Competent with 3D mining software Surpac;
  • Leapfrog experience is essential;
  • Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
  • WA Manual Drivers Licence;
  • National Police Clearance.

Position Duties:

  • Supervising underground drilling programs, logging and validation
  • Collecting and analysing underground grade control data (face mapping, face sampling) in preparation for block modelling
  • Production duties to facilitate the optimal production of gold ore from the underground mining operations promptly
  • Accurate sampling, interpretation, communication and documentation of geological, mining and geotechnical data in the mine environment
