UG Shift Boss is required on a 2:1 roster for a successful ASX-listed gold producer in WA.
Essential Requirements:
- WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate of Competency;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership experience;
- Dedicated commitment to safety;
- WA Dangerous Goods Security Card;
- Valid WA Manual "C Class" Drivers License;
- National Police Certificate (within 12 months);
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
Position Duties:
- Ensure underground mining operations (development and production) are conducted safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate the pre-shift meetings.
- Conduct all statutory checks each shift.
- End of shift reporting.
- Ensure the health and safety of all persons working underground and take appropriate action on any health and safety concerns.
Experience
Minimum 10+ years experience working in underground mining operations.
