Our client, a gold explorer that focuses on discovering and developing large new gold deposits, is currently seeking an Exploration Geologist to lead their exploration project.
Requirements:
- Familiar with a variety of drilling methods (DD, RC, AC);
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment and medical;
- Strong communication skills;
- Sound geographical knowledge, especially understanding of structural controls on gold mineralisation at a regional and local scale.
Position Duties:
- Collect, manage and interpret geoscientific data and use the data to meet required project outputs;
- Plan and supervise designated exploration and related activities (geological mapping, logging and sampling);
- Foster positive relationships with contractors and exploration team members.
Experience
12 + months experience in gold exploration, ideally based in Australia
