Our client is currently seeking an Open Pit Mine Surveyor to join their team. The client is a Perth based gold production and exploration company with a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualification or Diploma in Surveying
- C Class Manual Driver's Licence
- UAV pilot licence
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to work individually as well as a part of a team working with a variety of stakeholders
Position Duties:
- Provide sufficient survey control to support all operations on site
- Set-out of clearing limits
- Compile data for all ground disturbances
- Production survey pickups
- Production survey set-outs
- EOM field surveys, processing and calculations
- Maintain site survey equipment
- Rehabilitation set-out and as-built surveys
Experience
3+ years experience in a similar role (preferably on gold mine sites)
