Our client, an Australian-based minerals exploration company, is currently looking for Field Assistant to join their exploration team.
For this project, the successful candidate will be working at their greenfield gold-copper project.
Requirements:
- Valid C-Class Drivers Licence;
- National Police Clearance within the last 12 months;
- Hold full Australian working rights with no restrictions;
- Able to pass a pre-employment, drug and alcohol screen
- Resourceful and adventurous
Position Duties:
- Supervise field staff and equipment for exploration sites to ensure that exploration programs have adequate field technical support
- Daily scheduling of field personnel including the supervision of contractors
- Oversee that exploration programs have the appropriate logistical support (vehicles, camps, consumables, equipment)
- Liaise with Geologists to ensure that exploration activities are carried out in the most cost-effective manner
- Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes to ensure De Grey Mining maintains industry best practice.
- Provide support for the individuals and team
