TP14893 Fixed Plant Electricians | Mining Employment Services

Our client, a successful and dominant gold producer, is currently seeking Fixed Plant Electricians to join one of their operations.

Currently, the operation is developing a pipeline of new open pit and underground targets to extend the mine life from the regional targets.

Requirements:

Hold an A Grade Electrical Licence with no restrictions
Must have HV Switching & Instrumentation qualifications
Sound working knowledge of processing plants electrical - crushing, milling, CIL, elution circuits and remote pumping systems
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol
Hold or ability to obtain a Nationa Police Clearance

Position Duties:

HV generation & distribution within the plant
Electrical installation inspections
Maintain drawings of HV & LV installations
Contribution to process improvement.
Statutory testing of RCD’s emergency lighting, lanyards, and equipment testing and tagging;
Training and mentoring of apprentices
Perform all work activities with the highest regards to industry safety standards.
Diagnose faults, inspect and test equipment in a fixed plant environment and determine repair action required.

Experience

2 + years post trade experience as a Fixed Plant Electrician within a Processing Plant
