One of our rapidly growing gold exploration and production clients are currently seeking an Open Pit Mine Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Surveying (diploma or higher)
- Experience working with Lecia, Geosight CMS, Trimble GPS, and DJI drones
- Competent using Surpac and Agisoft Metashape software
Position Duties:
- Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations
- Carrying out all set outs, pickups and mark-ups as required for mining
- Complete EOM surveys when required in a timely manner
- Processing of survey data and producing plans, reports and other forms of spatial information, including systems to ensure integrity and continued availability of data
- Perform the collection and processing of survey data and production of plans, reports and other forms of spatial information, including systems to ensure integrity and continued availability of data
- Providing technical support and assistance across other departments as required
Experience
6+ Months experience in a similar role (preferably with pilot plant experience).
