Our client, a successful Nickel producer, seeks an Underground Geo Technician to join their team.
Requirements:
- C Class license
- National Police clearance
- Previous exposure to working in an underground mine
- knowledge of Geotechnical Instrumentation systems and their installation
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of mineral exploration and practical field experience
Position Duties:
- Ground Support QAQC, collecting samples, dispatching samples, data entry of results, reporting on-ground support QAQC;
- Installation of Geotechnical instruments and data communication systems;
- Maintain the Geotechnical department storage shed and develop a workshop area to do maintenance on Geotechnical equipment.
Experience
6-12 months experience in a similar role (preferably gold or base metal)
