Our client is a leading mining services company with interests in multiple commodities around Australia. They currently require experienced field assistants to join their team for a 3-month contract (possible extension) commencing 1st week of January 2020.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of two years experience in a field assistant role
Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical and DAS
Must hold current C class licence as a minimum
Position Duties:
- Assist the exploration geologists with any and all exploration activites as required
- Sample logging, pick up and dispatch
- Ensure completion of end to end drilling process from drill hole pegging, sample collection, and rehabilitation
- Assist with data entry
