MES is presently in search of two HD Fitters with expertise in Diesel Mechanics to become part of a leading Global Market segment player in Western Australia.

The position is DIDO for individuals residing in Geraldton and its neighboring areas, working in their Midwest operations. Additionally, the client welcomes those interested in Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) arrangements from Perth.

Job Requirements:

Australian Recognized Trade Certificate (HD Diesel Mechanic or equivalent);
Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE);
Strong commitment to safety;
Good verbal and written communication;
Ability to work in a team and unsupervised;
Industry experience.

Position Duties:

Conducting inspections and diagnostic tests;
Installing component and part upgrades to OEM standards;
Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls / systems;
Assists with vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing and adjusting components, parts or systems;
Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs;
Troubleshooting breakdowns.
