Junior Exploration/Mine Geologist: Grade control activities in an open pit AU mine, including drill core sampling, ore spotting, ore block mark-up, chain of custody for samples, ordering consumables. Extensive field geology, environmental sampling and mapping experience in several differing terranes and communicating those results in varied report formats. Proficiency in ArcGIS and Leapfrog 3D software, GPS, diamond and RC drill siting and logging of samples, PXRF license. Laboratory processing of samples including wet chemistry, milling, specific gravity, loss-on ignition, Cobaltinitrite analysis, barrel-roll agitation preparation for NAA. Proven skills in igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic petrology, microscope and hand sample petrography, geochemistry, geophysics, geological mapping, AMD and PASS contaminated land assessment. A Safety always approach to implementing SWP, JSEA, risk assessments. Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills to all audience types.
