Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold explorer with a significant high-grade gold deposit is currently seeking a Process Operator to join their Gold Project which sits in a major gold and nickel producing district.
Job Requirements:
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s license;
- Experience in process control and SCADA systems (CITECT) (desirable);
- Confined Space and Working at Heights Ticket (desirable);
- Gas Testing and Forklift Ticket (desirable);
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment;
- Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
Position Duties:
- Operation of all processing plant equipment relating to: Milling, CIL, Crushing & the Elution circuit;
- Operate the forklift, EWP, and skid-steer in a safe and correct manner;
- Operate process control systems using CITECT;
- Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair;
- Identify and act on ways of improving output or efficiency of the plant.
Experience
1 to 2 years prior experience in a gold processing plant role;
