Our client, a cutting-edge and premier mining services company, possesses an expanding world-class array of mining ventures across various commodities, notably iron ore and lithium. Presently, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for one of their lithium operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Trade certificate (desired);
  • Proven ability to plan multiple activities for remote areas with knowledge of logistical issues;
  • Sound knowledge of Maintenance Planning philosophies;
  • Advanced skills using MS Office and MS Projects (required);
  • Prior experience with Pronto (required).

Position Duties:

  • You will be responsible for both short- and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling, whilst also being responsible for the site fixed plant equipment and infrastructure;
  • Carry out maintenance planning and scheduling processes for the site mechanical, electrical, and operational teams;
  • Schedule resources, labour, materials, and plant access for preventative, planned and emergent maintenance works;
  • Coordinate with the procurement and supply departments for the timely arrival of all inventory, direct order materials and equipment;
  • Produce weekly maintenance management KPI’s;
  • Chair weekly planning and schedule meetings to discuss schedule compliance, maintenance tasks, materials, plant availability impacts and labour requirements.
Minimum 5 years in Shutdown/maintenance planning;
