Our client, a cutting-edge and premier mining services company, possesses an expanding world-class array of mining ventures across various commodities, notably iron ore and lithium. Presently, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for one of their lithium operations.
Job Requirements:
- Trade certificate (desired);
- Proven ability to plan multiple activities for remote areas with knowledge of logistical issues;
- Sound knowledge of Maintenance Planning philosophies;
- Advanced skills using MS Office and MS Projects (required);
- Prior experience with Pronto (required).
Position Duties:
- You will be responsible for both short- and long-term maintenance planning and scheduling, whilst also being responsible for the site fixed plant equipment and infrastructure;
- Carry out maintenance planning and scheduling processes for the site mechanical, electrical, and operational teams;
- Schedule resources, labour, materials, and plant access for preventative, planned and emergent maintenance works;
- Coordinate with the procurement and supply departments for the timely arrival of all inventory, direct order materials and equipment;
- Produce weekly maintenance management KPI’s;
- Chair weekly planning and schedule meetings to discuss schedule compliance, maintenance tasks, materials, plant availability impacts and labour requirements.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in Shutdown/maintenance planning;
