Mining Employment Services currently requires Shot Firers for our client's open-pit gold project.
Requirements
Current WA Shot Firers Licence
Dangerous Goods Security Licence and Explosives Dangerous Goods Licence (for transport on public roads)
Hold a WA truck driver's licence (HR an advantage but not essential)
Current police clearance or willing to obtain one
Easily pass a pre-employment, drug and alcohol screen
Must have full working rights to work in Australia
Position Duties:
- Prepare and charge in a safe and efficient manner
- Responsibly follow safe explosive handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with the Open Pit team and other operational departments
- Committed to achieving best blasting results and contribute to the success of the mining operation
