MES is seeking experienced Emergency Response Officers / Medics to work for our ASX listed client on one of their projects in Western Australia.
The company has a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations.
Role Requirements:
Cert IV in OHS
Cert IV in Health Care (Industrial Paramedics or similar)
Valid Australian C-Class Drivers Licence
National Police Clearance
Able to pass a drug & alcohol screen / pre-employment medical
Strong communication & computer skills
Position Duties:
- Site inductions and maintaining the company’s safety systems
- Safety and emergency response duties, drug & alcohol testing, involved in accident / incident investigations
- Provide advice on OHS, first aid treatment, medical transport, and associated admin and stocktake
- Reporting on safety performance, trends and opportunities
Experience
A background in the mining industry working in a similar OHS position
