Our Client, an emerging strategic metals producer with one of the largest lithium deposits in the world, is currently seeking a Senior Metallurgist for their new Lithium operation. It is a technically advanced lithium processing plant and the key to the success of the operation is the metallurgical performance of the new processing facility. The role will report to the Metallurgical Superintendent.
The plant consists of:
Crushing
Grinding and Separation including HPGR
Milling Circuit includes Spirals and Cyclones
Flotation
Thickening and Filtration
Position Duties:
- Maintain operating data report accuracy and distribution
- Implementation of continuous improvement programs
- Weekly feed blend review
- Daily analysis of plant performance
Experience
Wet plant experience ie: Nickel, Gold, Copper – lithium would be very beneficial
