Our client is an Australian based ASX listed company, focused on the development of a world-class Manganese Project. They currently require an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to oversee and execute a small RC drill program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Geology;
- RC drilling Experience;
- Australian drivers license;
- Current 4WD and First Aid;
- Experience working in small and remote teams;
- Sound QAQC knowledge;
- Competent using Acquire, QGIS, Micromine.
Position Duties:
- Assist in the design and execution of exploration and resource development drill programs;
- Design and implement drilling program;
- Collect, validate and manage geological data from field mapping and drill programs;
- Ongoing interpretation of mineralisation model based on geological observations;
- Drill rig supervision; geological logging; geological interpretation; ensure sampling quality is maintained;
- Submission of sample sheets and data entry;
- Ensuring safety standards are maintained.
