MES is looking for an Underground Geotechnician to support our production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support underground, as well as performing core yard duties.
Position Duties:
- Conduct grade control and underground mapping.
- Perform underground sampling and data collection.
- Monitor and record production data.
- Perform core yard work, including core cutting, sampling, and storage
- Maintain accurate records of production and sampling data.
- Collaborate with the mining and geological teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Data entry and other computer tasks
Experience
Previous relevant exploration and/or underground experience is highly regarded
