Our client, an ASX-listed gold mining and exploration company proudly based in Western Australia, is currently seeking HV Electricians to join their team at one of their gold operations.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification;
- Current WA Electrical License;
- Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship electrical work experience;
- High Voltage Switching Qualification;
- Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP and Forklift Tickets (Required).
Position Duties:
- Diagnose LV & HV power installations and conduct control system repairs, modifications, and adjustments;
- Maintain motors, transformers, and other electrical apparatus;
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical and instrumentation systems and components at the Processing Mill;
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures;
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes;
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years mine site fixed plant electrical experience;
