Mining Employment Services is looking for a Laboratory Technician for a Western Australian base metal mining operation. Ideally will have had previous mine site experience, however, candidates with a solid history in a met lab may also be considered.
You must be able to show proficiency in the following areas:
Analytical and metallurgical laboratory skills.
Able to work independently.
Graduate metallurgists with relevant experience will be considered.
High level of attention to detail and safety focus.
Enthusiastic approach and high level of fitness.
Diploma or Certificate in Laboratory Practices would be highly regarded.
Position Duties:
- Laboratory scale flotation tests in base metals.
- Sampling, sizings, sample prep/dispatch.
Experience
Minimum of two years experience as a Laboratory Technician, preferably in a base metals environment.
