MES is seeking an experienced Open Pit Mine Surveyor to work for a rapidly growing gold company, which is well advanced in the development of a new, large West Australian open-pit mining project.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Surveying;
- Manual Drivers Licence;
- WA Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate (desirable but not essential);
- National Police Clearance;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Self-motivated and team-orientated;
- Competent utilizing both UAV and Leica GPS equipment;
- Proficiency using Surpac.
Position Duties:
- Production survey pickups and set outs;
- Provide sufficient survey control to support all operations on site;
- Set-out of clearing limits;
- Compile data for all ground disturbances;
- EOM field surveys, processing and calculations;
- Survey compliance to design utilizing both UAV and Leica GPS equipment;
- Undertaking any site survey requirements as directed by the Senior Surveyor.
Experience
1-3+ years experience as an open pit mine surveyor (ideally gold).
